    Photo collection of architectural patterns called "cloud-shaped ancon" which are on the eaves of houses in the city.
    If you find it, take a picture and save it.
    When you collect five pictures and present them at Hida no Takumi Cultural Hall, you will receive an admission ticket as an incentive!

    What is cloud-shaped ancon?

    The part that supports the eaves of a Japanese house is decorated with the shape of a cloud.
    Each craftsman has their own original carving as a sign of pride and proof of the Hida carpenters, reputation as a "Hida master."
    Various patterns of cloud-shaped ancon can be seen in houses throughout the town, and there are about 170 different types.

    Notes on COLLECTING PHOTOS OF CLOUD-SHAPED ANCON

    How to participate

    • In order to participate in the Photo Rally and receive the incentives, please use a smartphone or camera that can store images.
      One time only per person.
      (Please do not pick up by proxy.)
    • The image that can be counted as a picture of one of the cloud-shaped ancon designs.
      Please note that multiple images of the same design will not be accepted.
      Also, the number of images stored on multiple devices cannot be combined.
    • The incentive tickets will be invalidated if any fraudulent activity is found in the acquisition of the images.
    • Walking on the phone is very dangerous. When looking at the screen, please stop in a safe place where you will not disturb others.
    • Please do not enter private property, buildings, or other areas where entry is prohibited without permission.
    • Please note that this event is subject to change or cancellation without notice.

    About Incentives

    • Please present the five images you have taken of cloud-shaped ancons at Hida no Takumi Cultural Hall counter and exchange them for admission tickets.
    • Please note that admission tickets will not be distributed outside of Hida no Takumi Cultural Hall's business hours.
    • The distribution of admission tickets will end when the number of tickets reaches the specified number.
    • Please complete the questionnaire when you receive your admission ticket.
      Such personal information will be used only for the operation of the Photo Rally.
      The information will not be provided to any third party other than the organizer and the secretariat.
      (except in cases where disclosure is required by law.)
